报告摘要:This talk introduces a new coding scheme and decoding algorithms tailored for the coexistence of heterogeneous services with different blocklength and latency requirements in downlink. In such scenarios, early decoding—allowing the receiver to decode messages without receiving the entire transmission frame—is leveraged to perform low-latency multiuser interference cancellation. This talk presents the proposed partially globally coupled low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes that enable early decoding of local codes while maintaining connections among them, allowing local decoding processes to support each other for improved overall reliability. Next, this talk introduces early decoding based successive interference cancellation (SIC), where the proposed code only requires a portion of the parity-check matrix for decoding. Simulation results show that the proposed design can achieve a 2.4 dB performance gain over 5G NR LDPC codes when using less than one-quarter of the coded symbols for SIC, highlighting its effectiveness in early decoding scenarios. This offers a practical and flexible solution for supporting heterogeneous service coexistence in future wireless systems.
