摘要：Channel capacity is one of the core issues in information theory research. Traditional information theory and channel capacity studies are typically based on the assumption of stationary memoryless channels, under which channel capacity can be succinctly expressed as the maximum of mutual information. However, for any general channel, such as non-stationary and non-ergodic channels, the method for solving its capacity remains unclear to many scholars. This talk begins with the classical capacity of stationary memoryless channels as an introduction, then focuses on the capacity representation of general channels, including those with memory, non-stationary, and non-ergodic properties. Finally, it discusses the strong converse properties of channels. The main content of the talk is derived from the general channel capacity expression proposed by Han and Verdu and the subsequently developed information spectrum method.
作者简介：宋光辉，西安电子科技大学副教授。2012 年于日本同志社大学获得工学博士学位。随后在日本同志社大学、加拿大西安大略大学和新加坡科技设计大学从事博士后研究。2021年以华山菁英副教授加入西安电子科技大学。主要从事无线通信，信息论与编码理论相关研究。发表 IEEE 期刊论文 30 余篇。主持国家自然基金面上项目。获得日本吉田育英奖学金，IEEE日本关西分会学生论文奖，中国电子学会信息论年会最佳海报奖，入选中国电子学会信息论分会学术激励计划。
